Karen Williams Executive Director
Karen Williams, a native of Helena-West Helena, AR has served as Executive
Director for Together for Hope Arkansas Since March 2022.
Williams is a 1975 graduate of Central High School. She graduated with an Associate’s degree
from Northern Oklahoma College and Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University. She
has earned a Master’s degree in Human Services in Counseling Studies from Capella University.
Since returning to Helena in 2005 from Oklahoma, she has worked with Mid South Health
Systems and Phillips County Development Center. She is also active in her church, Silver Cloud
Missionary Baptist Church, where her husband, Rev. James Williams, is the Pastor.
During her career in Oklahoma, she worked in accounting and customer service with a major oil

and as a social service director for a nursing and rehabilitation center.
Williams is delighted to be a part of a ministry of churches and organizations committed to making a difference in Helena-West
Helena and Phillips County. One of William's favorite scriptures, Philippians 4:13, states, ‘I can do all
things through Christ who strengthens me.’ She is excited and humbled to continue TFHAR’s
vision of creating opportunities for young people to succeed through leadership development,
service, education and enrichment.
